Ballot Statement

Occupation:  Small Business Owner, Former Mayor, Father

My father immigrated to California and worked as a plumbing and sewer contractor serving Cupertino, San Jose and Saratoga. From him, I learned the importance of reliable infrastructure, responsive service, and addressing problems before they become expensive emergencies.

I am a California native, small business owner, and residential property manager with 24 years of experience. I earned degrees in business management and business administration, with an emphasis in finance and real estate.

I have served our community as a Cupertino councilmember, twice as mayor, as a planning commissioner, and as a Foothill-De Anza Community College District trustee. This experience has prepared me to review budgets, oversee public resources, and represent ratepayers effectively. I have the experience and empathy to lead.

As your Cupertino Sanitary District director, I will scrutinize spending and regional treatment costs, keep rates as affordable as possible, support timely maintenance and infrastructure upgrades, and ensure responsive customer service.
